India in Nature Index 2016 Rising Stars

As per reports India is at the second position among countries with the highest increase in their contribution to high-quality scientific research, the country is only behind China’s.

The ranking is based on change in WFC from 2012 to 2015. Nature Index is based on articles from 68 journals. Weighted fractional count (WFC): a modified version of FC in which fractional counts for articles from specialist astronomy and astrophysics journals have been down weighted.
