National seminar on Pheromone technologies

Insect pheromones are an emerging tool for monitoring, mass trapping and mating disruption among insect pests of crops. In particular, they offer good potential for use as safer technologies for preserving the biodiversity in agro-ecosystems as well as for ensuring pesticide residue free produce so to be safe for human consumption. The Asthagiri Herbal Research Foundation, Chennai and The South Asia Society for Advancement of Pheromone Technology(SASAPT) will be co-hosting this seminar.
