Design workshops

National Institute of Design (NID), will be organising a Design workshop on "Understanding Design" during 17^th – 19^th Nov, 08, at NID campus, Ahmedabad. The key focus of this programme is to develop a sense of "out of the box thinking" to the participants, which would develop an innovative thought process. It will establish a design link between product and market, besides the use of design as a strategic tool for staying ahead in the fiercely competitive market scenario. CII, NID and Pune Design Foundation along with DIPP, Government of India are organizing the first India Design Festival 2008 (IDF 2008) from 1- 7 December 2008 in Pune. The key event of India Design Festival is the 8^th CII-NID Design Summit from 1-3 December 2008 at YASHADA, Pune, India.
