The Indian Abacus

Chinese Abacus , Japanese Abacus- everyone heard of them. But Indian Abacus- little known among general public yet creating wave of excitement among mathematics teachers and students has come from innovator M.S. Nethrapal, an IPS officer with a BTech from IIT Madras and MBA from IIM Bangalore. He invented the e-square-m speed maths and new abacus system which implements all the vedic operations in it.
